BIRD Aerosystems will present its latest Airborne Missile Protection System (AMPS) configuration, the AMPS-MV, on an MI-8 helicopter at the Farnborough International Airshow (FIA 2016). The AMPS-MV missile protection system, developed in cooperation with Airbus Defence and Space, is designed to protect military and civilian aircraft against ground-to-air missiles (MANPADS). more
