BIRD Aerosystems, a global provider of innovative defense technology and solutions that protect the air, sea, and land fleets of governments and related agencies, was invited to participate and present its ASIO Holistic Maritime Protection solution at the Israeli maritime arena conference, organized by BMP and ‘The Marker’ newspaper.
BIRD’s ASIO solution is a complete end-to-end maritime surveillance and protection solution, providing an advanced multi-layered approach to defend territorial waters against security, economic and ecological threats. BIRD’s ASIO solution is rapidly deployed worldwide in multiple configurations, enabling even small crews to deliver detailed and comprehensive surveillance information over large geographic areas.
Shaul Mazor, BIRD Aerosystems VP Marketing and Business Development: “We are honored to take part in such an important conference alongside other leading figures from the Israeli government and the Israeli ministry of defense. BIRD’s ASIO holistic solution delivers a powerful, comprehensive and flexible maritime patrol solution, enabling efficient detection, tracking and interception of any suspicious activity at sea.”
The ASIO holistic maritime protection solution provides customers with an integrated Aerial-Naval-Land solution. It facilitates maritime and coastal surveillance, patrol and survey of borders and strategic assets, and Exclusive Economic Zone (EEZ) monitoring capabilities. ASIO Maritime surveillance solution provides an operational surveillance and security task force including Fixed Wing surveillance aircraft tailored with maritime mission sensors, Naval Ships and HQ command. Leveraging BIRD’s advanced mission management system (MSIS), information gathered from the various sensors is autonomously prioritized and automatic alarms of suspicious activities are provided in real-time to the ASIO Maritime Patrol Aircraft enabling an optimized airborne mission.
The order, placed by a long-standing NATO client, includes the supply of systems to protect the VIP Dassault Falcon 7X and Airbus A319 aircraft. Delivery is expected in 2025 and also includes system maintenance services,” Bird stated in a press release.
