BIRD successfully concluded flight testing on Czech Republic helicopters

Herzliya, Israel, November 2009 – BIRD Aerosystems Ltd.  Successfully concluded flight testing of the AMPS-M system on the Mi-17 helicopters of the Czech Repblic. The AMPS-M was installed as part of the modernization program undertaken by LOM PARAHA for the CZ Air-force in order to meet NATO interoperability and compatibility standards.

The successful fight testing was the final phase in the 12 month program that included also delivery, installation, integration and certification of the AMPS-M Self Protection Systems on three Mi-17 helicopters.
